Wild Heart Ranch is located in Claremore, Oklahoma. We provide medical or infant support to any indigenous wild animal in need of assistance and release it into suitable wild habitat once care is completed.

I came across an injured owl late one night around 10 p.m and didnt know what to do for him so i got on face book looked up The Wild Heart Ranch and she came no questions asked. She had picked up the owl in 45 min. He made a full recovery and was released days later. I have a great deal of respect for all that help there. They definitly could use the funding so they can continue to help all of those that cant help themselves.

I found a baby hawk a few years ago and took it to Wild Heart. I was able to tour their facility and was totally amazed at what they do there! I found a baby skunk in the middle of a road late one night, laying next to his mama who had been hit and killed. I cleaned him up, brought him home and hoped for the best. The next morning, he seemed to be doing great, but I had no idea what to do with him. I was referred to Wild Heart Ranch and within an hour of making the phone call, someone volunteered to meet us halfway! That was six days ago and via facebook, they say he's doing good! He will be released soon, if not already, back into the wild~I am so grateful for the staff who volunteer their time, energy and knowledge to saving these animals.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Wildheart Ranch because they take in animals who need help that so few people have the knowledge to care for properly and they DON'T keep them to display for profit, but release them back into the wild unless that is just impossible. They give animals that would have nowhere else to go a second chance at being animals

Annette didn't hesitate, she told my how to get to her place, and gladly nursed the cjicks back to health. Annette King is my former sister-in-law and her daughter's name is Katie. I knew her "back when" and she had just started the ranch. She is dedicated to these animals. Why wouldn't I vote for her? I know her and what she is doing is a great thing for God's creatures.

My friend was on the verge of suicide and went out to volunteer at Wild Heart Ranch as part of her therapy. While there, she was involved in attempting to save the life of a critically injured domestic kangaroo joey, who had hopped into a fence and broke his neck. She was allowed to nurse this poor little guy, thereby focusing her attention on something other than her own personal problems. She eventually adopted the little joey, who is now a therapy animal in his own right. If it had not been for Wild Heart Ranch and their facility, I would have lost a dear friend, a little joey would have lost his life (in addtion to many other animals that find themselves there) and Oklahoma, not to mention the world would be without an organization that is well worth the effort that all put into it!

Wild Heart does not turn any animal down. They have amazing hearts for their animals, and do it all on their own. My daughter had an injured Canadian Goose which they tended to,but on her way to take the goose to Wild Heart, she picked up an injured raccoon, which Wild Heart gladly took in, too. Hearing her tell of the rescue of a baby opossum is just as moving and important to Wild Heart Ranch as the rescue and rehab of deer, eagle or horse. I grew up rescuing baby raccoons in the spring and the amount of love, dedication, and work it takes is enormous. WHR not only feeds and cares for the rescued critters they will do EVERYTHING possible to get them back into the wild where they believe they belong. The ones that can't be released back into the wild have a loving caring home at WHR unless a more suited place can be found for the once lost soul. It takes everything I have not to move closer to WHR and have the opportunity to be able to work along side Annette the wonderful caring staff and volunteers. I couldn't think of a more amazing, loving, and caring place to spend my days and nights.

    Where do I even start? Wild animals don't have much of a chance when injured, and without people like the Wild Heart Ranch staff the world would be a much bleaker place. Blinded owls, mauled opossums, broken-winged hawks, orphaned squirrels, raccoons, skunks, fawns...they all have a chance to survive with the care they receive from Annette and the team. I vowed long ago that whenever I won the lottery I'd donate a good chunk of it there, but so far no dice. It's a struggle to save the animals without owners, without collars or domesticity. They bite, they bleed, they need help just as badly as any injured dog or cat. Wild Heart Ranch saves lives.
